Drawing and Painting
The primary mission of the Drawing and Painting program at American River College is to provide our students with a strong foundation in the traditions of drawing, life drawing, and painting in preparation for transfer to an art program at a 4-year college or pursue an Associates of Arts Degree at ARC. The Drawing and Painting program at ARC has the reputation for faculty that are productive artists, are entirely accessible, and educating talented students, who go on to become professional artist and/or successful artist/teachers of merit and recognition.
